If you haven't caught on yet, I love Cleveland. I'm always crushin' on this cute 'big little city' of mine and truly can't picture myself anywhere else right now.

While I love The Land every single day, I figured I'd throw some extra compliments its way just for Valentine's Day.

Cleveland, I'm head over heels for you because...

  • I can always shop small! There's so many little luxuries in Cleveland, but being able to easily (and affordably!) shop small is one of my favorites. From home decor to giving gifts, Cleveland has you covered with a truly unique gift that can only be found in The Land.

  • Cleveland knows coffee ...and crepes. One of my favorite coffee shops ever is Brewella's in Lakewood, a western suburb of the city. The decor, the collectibles, the amazing menu (rose gold latte, anyone?) and unapologetic quirkiness is so uniquely Cleveland. Brewella's is one of my go-to spots, but Cleveland has SO MANY local coffee shops that will make you forget all about that Starbucks.

  • There's always (free!) fun to be had I love bopping around town on the weekends and Cleveland has so many free events that it's almost impossible to stay in, anyways. From art and activism to shopping and entertainment, I can always go out without breaking the bank.

  • Cle is colorful! Look around! There is so much cool art on street corners all around the city. From Cleveland's pizza painting to our mural of Prince, world-famous artist Lisa Quine making Cleveland her home, and the city encouraging and investing in art, there's always something new to be seen.

  • Life on the Lake I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love the lake! I'm getting anxious for it to warm up so I can spend my days reading with the waves in the background. I've made a few trips to the frozen lake, too, because the cold can't keep me away from true love.

If you had to pick one part of the city to be your Valentine, what would it be and why?! I love knowing why others love Cle!
