Local Bookshop Tours: Visible Voices

Visible Voice Books pens itself as "an urban retreat for curious readers and creative thinkers"and, honestly, that couldn't be more accurate.

The indie bookstore resides in the Tremont neighborhood and just oozes cool - from sharing its building with a pizza shop to having a cafe/bar in the bookshop - there's so much to love about taking a trip to Visible Voice.

In non-COVID times, the bookshop doubled as a community space for author events, speaker series, and even musical performances.

In our COVID world, it operates on a private booking capacity through two styles of bookings: Brunch & Browse and Create Your Own Night.

Brunch & Browse allows groups of up to 8 to enjoy 100 minutes in the store while enjoying a pastry platter from Leavened Bakery, DuckRabbit Coffee, tea, and up to two mimosas per attendee.

Create Your Own Night allows groups of up to 8 people to enjoy 90 minutes in the store while enjoying two large pizzas from Crust, the bookshop's downstairs neighbor, and a bottle of wine.

The eclectic store houses everything from classic titles to new releases, children's books to cookbooks, and more. It's such a warm and inviting atmosphere, it's hard to tear yourself away from the shelves.

Visible Voice Books is located at 2258 Professor Avenue Cleveland, OH 44113. While they are only accepting the private bookings listed above, they will also fill orders online or over the phone for pick up.

Local bookshop tours will cover Cleveland+ bookshops.
