“There’s just this misconception that people who own oddity shops must be bad people, but we’re not. We love this stuff, and we love when people are open-minded to it,” Wallace says. “I’ve seen kids eyes light up when they see something like a cow’s eyeball in a jar and it’s an awesome experience for us.” 

For a few months after my college graduation, I worked for WEWS News5 Cleveland as a Digital Content Producer. I wrote more than 100 articles in a few months, covering anything from adorable baby Cavs fans and Cleveland's birthday to the release of new Barbies.

 

This was the longest standing freelance position I've had and it was so much fun working in a professional newsroom!
